Veterinary Services You Can Trust

As a full-service animal hospital in Medford, OR, our goal is to help your pets stay happy and healthy. We offer a range of pet wellness services for all life stages. Our veterinary team and staff strive to treat every pet as if they are our own. Together, we will work with you to ensure your dog, cat, or pocket pet is happy, comfortable, and healthy through every stage of life.

We are proud to offer the following veterinarian services:

Preventive Care

Our preventative veterinary care services don't just measure you pet's current wellness, it helps us gauge if problems could arise in the future. During an annual wellness exam, we complete a full physical examination, and recommend heartworm tests, fecal flotation tests for parasites, and red blood cell tests for underlying diseases. As part of our preventative treatments we may also prescribe heartworm, fleas, and tick medication. By being proactive about your pet's health, we can better detect health concerns before they come serious medical issues.

Pet Dentistry

Dogs and cats are susceptible to many of the same dental ailments as their human family members. Regular professional dental cleanings are important not only for your pet's oral health, but overall health. We work to clean both above and below the gumline, which helps break down calculus, and prevent periodontal (gum) disease. Polishing treatments help create a lustrous, smooth tooth surface that is more resistant to plaque build up.

Diagnostic Testing

To make an accurate diagnosis, we sometimes need to rely on diagnostic testing. Our animal hospital provides tests including those for heartworm and intestinal works, as well as blood chemistry panels, and fecal examinations. These tests allow us to properly diagnose your pet's symptoms and find the appropriate treatment. We have blood analyzers in our office for faster results for emergency situations and for running pre-anesthetic bloodwork.

No one wants to say goodbye to their friends, so we take great care to ease your transition and make the decision as easy as possible. Our veterinary professionals can help you explore your options, as well as help take care of the remains. We offer in home euthanasia.

Looking for a permanent, unalterable form of identification for your pet? A microchip is the size of a grain of rice and is implanted with a needle under your pet's skin. If your pet goes missing or runs away from home and is found, their chip can be scanned to identify them and safely return them to you.

If your dog or cat is in need of prescription medication, we work hard to make sure you have access to affordable veterinary pharmaceuticals, shampoos, flea and tick medications, and more.

Our state-of-the-art digital radiology equipment helps us evaluate a variety of systems within your pet including the musculo-skeletal, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), reproductive, and urinary systems.

Spay and Neuter

Aside from preventing unwanted pregnancies and reducing territorial behaviors, spaying or neutering your pet can prevent and reduce their risk for certain types of infections and cancers. We know it can be a big decision, so we are here to provide you with the information you need, as well as to shed light on the procedure and situation.

We carefully screen all patients to make sure they are healthy enough for us to operate on them. We work hard to tailor each surgical service to the patient, and offer the most advanced surgical techniques. During their procedure, we carefully monitor their well-being, and make sure their health is the top priority.

Ultrasound procedures allow us to examine the abdominal organs and heart. It is non-invasive and uses sound waves to examine your pet's internal organs. We also offer pregnancy exams.

As part of our commitment to providing you and your pets with the best veterinary services, our veterinarians strive to provide preventative care options whenever possible. One of our preventative care measures is to prevent disease and illness before it arises. Vaccines help your pet build immunity to certain diseases and viruses, which helps them stay healthy longer. We tailor a program for your dog based on their potential exposure to diseases.

General Surgery

We perform general surgical procedure; including spay, neuter, uncomplicated fracture repair, gastro-intestinal surgeries, and more.

Eye Care

To ensure your pets are able to maintain healthy eyes for life, we offer a range of ophthalmology services to treat and diagnose eye diseases in animals.

Whether your pet is recovering post-surgery, is experiencing arthritic pain, weight loss or neurological issues, our staff is fully trained to help them heal. We will work with you and your pet to make sure they reach a safe and comfortable recovery.
